Georgia Association of Realtors' Purchase and Sale Agreements
provide buyers the opportunity to have homes inspected,
and specifying the contractual terms related to repair requests,
negotiations and time periods for inspection resolution.

This is a very important part of the purchase process.
We encourage every buyer to have his or her home inspected
as part of any contract to purchase -- and recommend
the use of qualified, experienced inspectors able to provide
detailed, timely reports with photographs and supporting details
related to inspection findings.

We also encourage sellers to consider inspections prior to or at the time
they decide to list their homes for resale.
